Membership with results in mind

More clarity to decide. More intelligence to move forward. More proximity to the ecosystem to position yourself.

Working across Brazil, Italy and the European Union brings different challenges at different moments. Membership of the Chamber brings companies, professionals and organisations closer to intelligence, guidance, opportunities and places to take part, helping them navigate the Brazil-Italy-Europe ecosystem with more knowledge and a clearer sense of direction.

Where are you right now?

Membership can make sense at different points in a company's or a professional's journey along the Brazil-Italy-European Union axis. These are some of the situations we come across most often.

You are weighing up or just beginning your entry into Italy

Your company is still assessing the Italian market, or has begun to export, build commercial relationships or set up a presence in the country.

You may be looking to:

  • understand the market context better;
  • identify opportunities and the questions that need thinking through;
  • understand the requirements and the relevant developments;
  • decide whether, when and how to move forward.
What this means in practice

Clarity to decide

Understanding whether there is room for your product or business, when to move, what needs thinking through, and whether this is the moment to enter, to prepare further or to keep watching the market.

Intelligence to move forward

Following opportunities, requirements, programmes, market data, sector developments and other information that can support your preparation and your next decisions.

Closeness to the ecosystem, to position yourself*

Getting to know the main players, organisations, agendas, events and spaces in your sector, and beginning to understand how the Italian ecosystem works.

You already work across Brazil, Italy and Europe

Your company already has operations, partners, clients or a presence in the market, or you are an Italian or European company with interests and relationships in Brazil.

You may be looking to:

  • identify new opportunities;
  • follow regulatory, institutional and market changes;
  • assess new fronts;
  • widen your presence and relationships, or reposition what you do.
What this means in practice

Clarity to decide

Deciding where to concentrate effort, assessing new fronts, reviewing priorities, widening your presence or repositioning what you do.

Intelligence to move forward

Following changes that could affect the business, new opportunities, funding sources, calls, trends and market movements worth attention.

Closeness to the ecosystem, to position yourself*

Following the relevant agendas, understanding who drives the themes connected to your work, and spotting new spaces worth being present in.

You want to strengthen your professional footing in Italy

You have recently arrived in the country, or already work in an Italian or European company, and want to understand your environment better, widen your relationships and strengthen your professional standing.

You may be looking to:

  • understand the Italian business and institutional environment better;
  • widen your professional network;
  • follow themes and agendas relevant to your work;
  • get closer to new spaces and players in the ecosystem.
What this means in practice

Clarity to decide

Understanding the Italian business and institutional environment better, and recognising where to focus your attention, your professional development and your relationships.

Intelligence to move forward

Following themes, developments, opportunities, events and agendas related to your field and your professional interests.

Closeness to the ecosystem, to position yourself*

Getting to know the relevant players and organisations, finding places to take part and gradually widening your professional network with more purpose.

Is your situation different?

These are some of the most common situations, not the only ones. If you are an organisation, an institution or a professional whose work is connected to cooperation between Brazil, Italy and the European Union, membership may also make sense given your objectives and interests.

What you get as a member

A guided experience, combined with concrete benefits. Membership is designed to create value throughout the year, starting with a clearer understanding of where you are and continuing through intelligence, opportunities, participation and reserved terms.

Your experience as a member

Individual Activation Session

A structured one-to-one conversation, held after you join, to take a closer first reading of where you are, your objectives, interests and priorities.

From it we identify the 2 or 3 priority themes of your membership, draw up your Member Map and agree together the main check-in points along the way.

Your Member Map

A map built around where you are and what interests you, setting out the instruments, content, themes, opportunities and ways of taking part that are likely to make most sense over the year.

It records your priority themes and the main reference points for your journey as a member.

The Chamber's instruments are the same for everyone. The combination is individual.

Intelligence and opportunities by interest

Through the year you receive a selection of analysis, data, studies, opportunities and agendas related to the priority themes set during your activation.

That may include material from the Strategic Compass, the Opportunities Map, the Market Dossiers and the Official Data Portal, as well as calls, programmes, events, trade fairs, missions and other relevant initiatives in the Brazil-Italy-Europe ecosystem.

The selection draws on the themes recorded in your Member Map and on the knowledge, content, opportunities and agendas the Chamber follows through the year.

Support through the year

Joining is only the beginning of your journey as a member.

The check-in points agreed together during activation are a chance to revisit interests, priorities and new possibilities through the year, and to update the reference points in your Member Map where needed.

Membership benefits

ItalbraX is the short name of the Camera Italo-Brasiliana di Cooperazione Sostenibile and identifies the Chamber's meetings, materials and membership community.

ItalbraX Intelligence Meetings

Group meetings reserved for members, to go deeper into themes the Chamber follows, discuss developments and opportunities identified by the Observatory and exchange perspectives among participants.

Some meetings may involve the whole membership; others may be organised around specific themes, bringing together members whose interests relate to the topic.

Invitations and access to opportunities

Members may receive invitations, places and opportunities to take part in meetings, dialogues, events and other initiatives run by the Chamber or made available by institutions and partners in the ecosystem.

Participation will depend on the format of each initiative, the places available and, where relevant, the fit with the member's profile and interests.

Presence and visibility as a member

The right to use the ItalbraX Member digital identifier while your membership is current, in institutional spaces and materials such as your organisation's website, email signature, presentations and other digital channels, in line with the Chamber's rules of use.

With the member's authorisation, their organisation or profile may also appear in the public presentation of the membership and, where authorised, in ItalbraX's institutional welcome communications.

Reserved terms on specialist services

Members receive discounts and specific terms on the specialist services the Chamber offers.

A two-way relationship

Membership was not conceived merely as a set of benefits. The Chamber believes a network creates more value when its participants can also bring experience, knowledge, perspectives and needs that matter to the ecosystem.

Chamber → Member

What you look for in the Chamber: clarity, intelligence, guidance, opportunities, proximity.

Member → Ecosystem

What you can bring: experience, knowledge, perspectives, needs, expertise.

Sharing experience, knowledge, perspectives and expertise is voluntary and happens according to the nature of each initiative.

How to become a member

The first step is to tell us where you are and what you are looking for. Through a short form we seek to understand your profile, your situation, your main interests and what you hope to find in a relationship with the Chamber.

Joining the Chamber involves a membership contribution, with one band for individuals and bands for companies and organisations according to their size.

Once you have sent it, we hold a short conversation to answer any questions and check that membership matches your expectations and needs. At that point we set out the membership contribution and the terms of joining. If you decide to go ahead, we send you what you need to formalise your membership.

It matters to us that membership creates real value in practice.

When you send this, you will be asked for your email address and to accept the Privacy Policy (once only).

If you prefer, write directly to [email protected].

When you need to go beyond membership

Some needs call for a different level of work. Membership helps you understand, follow and identify routes forward. Where a need calls for specific preparation, in-depth analysis, coordination, approaches to particular contacts or dedicated support, the work is handled within the Chamber's specialist services.

Members have reserved terms and discounts on those services. Among them is the PAS, the Percorso di Allineamento Strategico, for companies that need to deepen their strategic, regulatory, operational, institutional and positioning readiness for the Italian and European market.

Membership does not replace those services. It can help you recognise when the moment has come to go deeper on a specific need.

* This is why closeness to the ecosystem does not mean privileged access or any guarantee of introductions: when a need calls for dedicated preparation, brokering, approach or follow-up, it is handled within the Chamber's specialist services.
